I will be in the army next year and i need a fitness routine to get me in top shape for it so i am not absolutely dying when i start.Getting in the army, need to have a good fitness routine that will get me ready for it. Can you give me one?Get online and print out a training program for a mini marathon. Start training for it and you will be amazed at how fit you get. Within 2 weeks I was running 6 miles at a time.



Along with that, just work on your calisthenics. Be sure you can do lots of push-ups, jumping jacks, and sit ups!

Start out doing 15 minutes of aerobic activity a day. Walking, swimming, jogging, stationary bike, elliptical, anything that makes you break a sweat. Add 5 minutes every week until you are getting at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity at least 5 days a week.



You might also want to add traditional exercises such as sit-ups, jumping jacks, squat thrusts, etc. The internet is a good resource for this. Can you give me one?You're going to be involved in upper body strength, agility and stamina type stuff. Just do what they do: Pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, running (at least a mile)...all this in a timed manner.
