How to get myself into the fitness lifestyle?

I somewhat exercise and eat healthy but I would like to be a fit, more active person. What things could I incorporate to change my lifestyle to a fit lifestyle? I'm 17 and planning to join cross country this upcoming school year.How to get myself into the fitness lifestyle?Baby steps bud that is all. Start by (please dont hate me for this) getting into classes resembling aerobics. Trust me dude that will teach you to be more coordinated and methodical about gymming and working out plus you get to lose a few pounds to get into the whole fitness system. Go to gym just for classes 2 times a week for starters for about 2 months. Spend an 1 hour there. After that within 2 months of Fit Kombat Fit jump or Fit Localized or Core classes you can spend a little more time at gym. Spend 2 hours at gym 3 times a week. Pick 2 days just for cardio exercises and 1 day just for free weights. At free weights start small and pick your weeks for 1 half of your body to work out. 1 Week (1 day of the week) for legs and frontal torso and 1 week for back torso but in all weeks of free weights you have to work out arms. Now working out arms and legs is just not that simple. I advise you to get a trainer for the first month you get into that. After 2 months of working out like that keep spending your 3 days at gym but now spend 2 hours a day of cardio and 3 hours a day of free weights and now you can incorporate more exercises in free weights and therefore have more time to work out. Another time saver in free weights is to alternate exercises. While youre doing any exercise of arms and you finished your set of reps, imeadetely start another set of reps in a whole different exercise working out different muscles like squats for your legs. You will not be feeling too tired since youre working out another muscle. Also remember to start small in accordance to your THRESHOLD and POSTURE. If your weights are too heavy for your correct posture then go lighter because it can damage your body. You will not be seen as a little girl or worse. Much to the contrary you will be respected by those who take gymming seriously.

About food. Eat a lot of fibre and minerals. Sweet potatoes are excellent protein foods as well as Quinoa being very rich in fibre. Stay off whey and soy supplements as whey even tough its ideal its really dodgy coz you dont know what goes in there. Soy in excess can cause erectile disfunctions. Keep your diet as natural as possible specially in the morning. Drink about 3 glasses of room temperature water 30 minutes before breakfast every morning and start substituting certain breakfast ingredients for healthier ones. Like fruit. Oat meal. Kellogs special K. All bran flakes is bad for you as its like digesting cardboard. Too harsh for your stomach. Replace your sugar in your cofee for honey or fructose. Too much fructose can still be detrimental to you. Remember tough. The secret to health is balance. Not excess. Finally stay off fried food and red meat. Eat poultry or ostrich or emu steaks as they are excellent or stay with your conventional free range chicken. Stay cool. See ya.How to get myself into the fitness lifestyle?Keep active in all you do! Instead of going on the computer or watching tv go for a walk or something along those lines. Exercise more often and learn to push yourself but not too much as in to hurt yourself. Make sure you know the requirements of cross country and you are able to do so! Have a great school year!
