How do you increase the range of motion in your knees?

One of my knees i have had problems with, but the strange thing is I do not have full range of motion in either knee. I am only 25 yrs old, is there anyway to get full range of motion back? I do quad stretches, but I am not sure if it is working. Any advice would be appreciated. How do you increase the range of motion in your knees?Have your doctor refer you to a physical therapist or a kinesiologist. do stretches in your legs each morning keep your knees locked and lean forward as far as you can, also stretch the muscles in the front of your thigh by grabbing your foot and pulling back.

I must say though thats pretty abnormal, maybe its something to do with the knee itselfHow do you increase the range of motion in your knees?is there pain involved when trying to get full ROM? if so, see an orthopaedic doctor to see what's inhibiting you. otherwise, ask your primary doc for a physical therapy prescription. they're always good AND as a bonus (if you're a guy) a lot of the therapists are eye-candy.

quad stretches strengthens the knee by making your kneecap tighter. it can or can't help with ROM.
