I am a Program Coordinator for a Summer Youth Employment Program. One of my students is interested in becoming a personal trainer. This one is out of my field. I'd like to give him info on how to beomce one.
How do you become a personal trainer? Do you have to go to a 4 year college or trade school for it?How do you become a personal fitness trainer?not at all. you have to take a test for certification. the test is pretty difficult though. you need to be able to identify all the muscle groups, and then depending on the certification he goes for, he'll have to identify exercises that go with those muscle groups.
