Is it possible to raise your fitness level in 3 months?

I'm joining the NZ army in may, is it possible to raise your fitness level in 3 months? and how hard do you have to train??

I am in good shape already, but i still havent quit smoking(im on my last pack) and am worried about the RFL(required fitness level)Is it possible to raise your fitness level in 3 months?ok well running every morning would do wonders for your cardio. which i'm sure you'll need in the army. You should do about 5 miles a day, and then as you get stronger, work your way up to ten miles a day. But do it slowly, because you want to avoid being too sore. Then 2-3 times a week you should do weight training. It really helps to make a routine with this that way you can keep it regular. But also make sure you push yourself.

and the smoking has got to stop. it kills your ability to run. =]Is it possible to raise your fitness level in 3 months?yes it is defintaly possible to do so.

the amount and intensity of exercise required really depends on the difficulty of your goal.

instead of driving to work you should run or ride a bike, if its still to far park your car a couple of kilmetres away and run the rest. fit exercise into your lifestyle rather than working your life around it.

good luck
