I am hoping to do my next ju-jitsu grading in June, but at the minute I don't think I am physically fit enough to go through 5 hours of non-stop testing. I am not looking so much to build up core strength, but general endurance and the ability to keep going for longer. What is the best way to train for this?How can I increase my overall fitness level?Qi Gong will build up inner strength, this appears to be what you will need. There are many methods of Qi Gong, concentrate on the "inner" methods for this, e.g. Zhan Zhuan, "flow" etc
Try Roger Jahnke's site for info, also if you find something re Lam Kam Chuen. There are several others too, but concentrate on the inner work %26amp; the outer will go better.
