How do I train for my fitness test?

In my school, we have to run a mile, and I'm planning to do it in less than 8 minutes. How do I train for it? I have a kind of busy schedule, so I need to be able to fit in training. I also have a curl-up test, where you do crunches, and the most you do is 75. I need to train for that as well.
