Where to complain about a fitness center in which the owner lets his rotweiller lose in the gym?

The owner of a boutique gym leaves his rotweiler dog lose on the floor every mid-afternoon when there are only a few of us working out. The dog stares at people constantly and follows every move. it is intimidating since you don't know what's he going to do. People are intimidated by the owner, therefore, they don't complain. Isn't this a "health" violation also?Where to complain about a fitness center in which the owner lets his rotweiller lose in the gym?no, not a violation. but do you go to my gym? i mean for real. are you from IL? Its his gym and he can let the dog out if he wants. If it bothers people then it would be a good idea in a business sense to not allow it. Perhaps he either doesnt realize it, or just doesnt care. Maybe you can send an anonymous letter just letting him know that some of the members are bothered by it, but didn't want to cause a problem with complaining.Where to complain about a fitness center in which the owner lets his rotweiller lose in the gym?
You can complain to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Department of Health who will most likely send out an inspector to the gym to observe this violation. It's a potential hazard and an unsanitary condition to have a dog loose in a confined area.Where to complain about a fitness center in which the owner lets his rotweiller lose in the gym?hey I have an idea, go to a different gym. If you dont like it move gyms, its the owners gym not yours.

Dont get your panties bunched up over something you haven't even tried to ask the owner about doing differently.

And if enough people leave due to the dog he might get a clue and change his business practices, if not well its a free country and he may or may not go out of business.

But your response to force him to do things different in his place of business is wrong.

For example, I dont like how you shave in the morning. So I want you to change how you do it. I'll go to the government and have them change your ways. Dont like it? Well that's what you want to do to this guy.

So, ask him if he could leash his dog, and if he says no change gyms.Where to complain about a fitness center in which the owner lets his rotweiller lose in the gym?
