Is there a difference between the male and female fitness requirements pre-joining the Army?

I am a 19 year old female, what should I be able to do before I enlist to make basic training a little easier? Is there a difference between the male and female fitness requirements pre-joining the Army?Be able to do 30 male style pushups, 60 situps and run 2 miles in under 25 minutes.

That should make it possible for you to pass the PT test.Is there a difference between the male and female fitness requirements pre-joining the Army?I'm not sure what they actual difference is anymore, but typically females only have to preform at 1/4 to 1/2 the physical capacity that males do.

Such a sexist system, insinuating that females are physically weaker than males and incapable of meeting the physical requirements that males do.Is there a difference between the male and female fitness requirements pre-joining the Army?Females have it easier because our bodies are different. We have smaller hearts and less lung capacity, etc...

Sit-up standards are the same for both genders, but the run and push-ups are easier for women.
