This appears to be an oxymoron and really do not exist. You can get plenty of cheap ones that will break after a few uses, or you can double you budget and maybe get one that will serve it's need. I think your would spend your money more wisely with a membership to the Y, that way you can work your a** off next to one of the sweaty off duty firemen. You get my drift? You need to buy a name brand, especially with an elliptical, such as Life Fitness or Nautilus. However, you can often find gym-quality machines used on Craigslist for that. I got my recumbent bike for $100 off the site. It would be $700 new.
