What kind of gym work should i do to increase my football fitness?

with pre-season coming up i want to do a bit of gym work espically on my legs and my cardio. any tips.. thanksWhat kind of gym work should i do to increase my football fitness?few of the exercise are mentioned below that would be helpful to increase your football fitness:



1.Warm up %26amp; stretch (2 X LAPS LIGHT RUN PACE)

2.Pace yourself (3 X LAPS JOG / RUN / FAST)

3.Do drill with football (3 X 1/2 LAPS AS ABOVE)

4. LEG CIRCUIT AFTER EACH 1/2 LAP

5. UPPER BODY CIRCUIT

6. ABS CIRCUIT

7.JOG BACKWARDS

8.LEG CIRCUIT AFTER EACH LAP
