Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer?

I've been working out very hard 3 days a week, 1 hour each session with a trainer, using machines and free weights. I can't afford to continue. In your opinion, do you believe I can get similar results at home using basic handweights and exercises? Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer? The main question here is do you have the will power to push yourself? A fitness trainer gives you support and variety, these are things you can do yourself. I know that sometimes it is hard to motivate yourself into exercising, so see if your friends are in the same boat. You will find you will push each other into working harder. There are numerous routines on the web or P90X is an excellent program at a fair price that covers everything. Plus P90X motivates you to workout, if those around you don't want too. The bands don't take up a lot of room and are resonably priced. They give an excellent workout. Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer?
Yes! Now your workouts may not be the same, they may be totally different and your gonna have to be diciplined enough to give it your all like you do with the trainer. If you need some workouts there is a great yahoo group that has multiple workout programs that you dont need to be in a gym for. Check them out. I hope this helps and dont stop! Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer? You can use things around your house as alternative fitness machine things :)

like the step up things, you can just walk up and down the stairs.

Of course you can achieve the same level of fitness, the trainer is really to guide you and motivate you, so if you can find some way to motivate yourself, then you should have no problem.

Hope I helped. Good luck :) x
If your self-motivated, you can easily get much BETTER results without some clown trainer in the gym...

Any tips or help, just e-mail me.Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer?
Sure. You need to get the hand weights which can substitute the weights in the gym. You might need to get some inexpensive equipments such as an elliptical machine.
I believe that a good home fitness workout can be, in almost all cases, more effective than going to a gym.

There's just something about working out at home that makes it much more comfortable for me. I really don't enjoy working out with sweaty old men breathing down my neck, waiting for the next machine to be open. Can I achieve the same fitness level at home as I do at a gym with a personal trainer?
