What I am I achieving in terms of fitness or weight loss during my gym routine?

I am 20 years old, 5 foot 6 and weigh 10 stone 2 lbs. I currently spend 5 minutes warming up on a bike, then do some stretching. I then spend 54 minutes on the treadmill. I do 4 minutes on 10 mph then 1 minute on 12 mph until the 54 minutes is up. I then spend a few minutes walking on the treadmill to cool down and do some stretches.What I am I achieving in terms of fitness or weight loss during my gym routine?You are losing muscle mass and weight but not doing well for fat loss. The best thing is 16 minutes of full out cardio. After that your body starts to rob muscle mass to fuel your body.
