Xbox 360 DLC - Downloading on another Xbox?

If you use YOUR hard drive, but someone else's Xbox to download your DLC (for example, because yours can't connect to the internet) will you not be able to access it once you put the hard drive back on to your own Xbox? This seems really stupid considering you downloaded it to the hard drive. I have now done this with two games (The Force Unleashed 2, and Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition) and right now I can't seem to access any of the DLC I downloaded on my own Xbox. I feel like I got cheated out of the money I spent downloading everything.Xbox 360 DLC - Downloading on another Xbox?
DLC is licensed to the gamertag that bought it and the console it was bought on, not the hard drive or flash drive. However, the gamertag license only works if the console can sign into Live to verify it.

If you don't have access to Live and still want to buy DLC, you need to bring the console (not just the HD or flash drive) to where you can get internet access.

To fix the DLC you've already bought, you can do a license transfer at http://www.xbox.com/drm to move the console licenses from where they are now to your console, but you'll need to do this from someplace where the console has internet access. Once you've done the transfer (following *all* the steps), you'll be able to use your DLC offline like you want.Xbox 360 DLC - Downloading on another Xbox?
Thank you so much! I got it fixed because of this! I was out of town and couldn't actually vote for your answer but this was definitely the best one, so I'm glad it got picked anyway. :)

I had that problem and it sucks. You would have to connect your xbox to internet and redownload the DLC.
