1 Go back to the town with the wall that was "too high to climb, but if you had a boost you could get over" (near the blue medallions, if you check map, the map will tell you where to go)



2 shoot them in the leg then run up and kick them. when they are on the ground, knife them as they stand up.



3 spend money on upgrades. you need to be so far in the game to buy other upgrades



4 l1/r1 and x and square. I dont think l2 and r2 are dodge command squences for cutscenes



5 shoot them when they get close to ashley. 1 shot in the LEG and they will fall down.



6 I dont know of any. I never had to cheat.

1 - once you save her,you jump back down to leave the chapel,and a cut scene will come up where they try to get you,and you both run into the room that is locked,from the outside near the path where you go in the back to get the treasure



2 - pistol,shotgun,and tmp are the most common bullets you will pick up for weapons,and will pop up reguardless if you have the weapon or not,magnum rounds you will only pick up only a few so be sure to only use this in situations where it is needed,mine launcher ammo will only appear just as rare as the magnum once perchased.



3 - if i remember correctly,its almost every other time you met the merchant he will always have something new for you to buy,the begining of chapter 5 is when you are able to max out certain guns,i think your pistols you can,then a few moments later the rest will be able to get fully upgraded



4 - yes the best way to make sure your ready is to get your finger ready on the triggers and square and x,for the dodge.its really not hard to dodge something,only in perfessional mode it seems a little bit faster but not to bad



5 - ashley is always a pest when have to keep her along with you,you can keep hear near doors that loaded the next scene because no enemies spawn near it,and in certain parts of the game you will be able to hide her,and they cant open it i think,if anything when i got better at the game,i just used her for bait if she is irretating you,the enemies have no intentions to harm her unless she took a swing that was ment for you,if someone picks her up just shoot there legs or something,dont bother upgrading her life,cause it goes much faster than yours does,and her starting life is sufficient enough for the whole game,as long as you are careful



6 - there are cheats for the ps2 game,but you will need a game shark to access,i cant think of a link that i could give you,but im sure places like gamefaqs.com or something might have it last time i checked



tips



----------------ammo---------

shooting the enemies legs or feet will cause them to get stunned,in certain cases you can run up to them and press X to access your melee move,this only works on certain enemies,and leon will change up from round house kick/suplex,but if anything making the enemy trip is a good thing,just run up to them and start knifing to save ammo



when you buy upgrades from the merchant,a way to get free ammo is empy the clip of the weapon,and upgrade the compacity,the merchant will max it out to the lv you have purchased and will fill the clip up free of charge



using certain weapons,and in certain situations you will save ammo by playing smarter not harder,and by this i mean,sticking to certain guns will save loads of ammo,cause of what they can do.



punisher pistol - average dmg,but its specialty comes with its exclusive,which can punch thru 5 people in a roll,if you have unlocked this gun for free at the begining i would say use this pistol,and sell your old one,because this one will benefit you until you have access to the red9



red9 pistol - although it isnt the fastest,this pistol can become a mini shot gun once highly upgraded,at full upgrade the ps2 version(our version)the pistol will do 6.5 dmg..thats 1.5 more dmg than a stock shotgun does,so you will drop all common enemies within 3-2 shots,and as for professional mode as well,this pistol in my opinion is the best one to get,so once you have access to it,i would say buy it,and upgrade it every chance you have



striker - dont ever purchase the riot gun,although its alot better than the stock shotgun,its better to save your money for the best shotgun,which is the striker,because its wide shot,this will help in crowd control,and its exclusive will give you a drum of 100 ammo...thats alot of ammo.and the dmg will max at 12.



tmp - if you have alot of ammo for this,just buy a tmp but dont upgrade it whatsoever,because this gun is useless,in the long run,even when fully upgraded,just buy the gun at a cheap offer,and use up all the ammo you pick up for it,and use that shooting the leg and knifing tip with it,to save all the better ammo for something later



magnum - if you must use the ammo with it,but try use it smartly,and keep the gun,dont buy the killer7 magnum because the broken butterfly is a much better choice to have,once you beat the game,i would suggest completly the mercs game with 5 stars to unlock the hand cannon,which will ultimatly replace the butterfly with a 99 dmg shot,once fully upgraded,it uses its own type of bullet so dont save the ammo for this if you are gonna take my tip



as far as the rest of the guns,they are all personal preference the list of the weapons above are the only ones that should concern you being the best in each category,the rest of the guns you can toy with them but they arent really needed.these tips will help you save ammo if you ever fall short of it,and choosing the right weapons will also be a benefit to you,because they will do more than the other weapons will with lesser ammo,so in the long run its better to select the right weapons

once you beat the game once,unlock the hand cannon,the knight outfit for ashley,and the chicago type writer,which will both weapons will replace all your guns,so you can sell them,and having ashley around wont be such a bother cause they cant pick her up cuase she is too heavy

3.all you need to upgrade is the fire power once in a while and increase it's ammo capacity to 50 or 100(whatever you like. P.S. to make this weapon awesome BUY THE STOCK

5.occasionaly there are bins she can hide in.You can also have here stay in a cleared room until you have cleared harder areas(Bella sisters,Regenerators,Iron Maidens,etc.).
